Our Philosophy

Explorers is a newly established early education and care setting open in the heart of Collier Row. We follow the best of traditional standards and provide warm and welcoming environments in which children are nurtured, motivated and eager to learn.

 

The setting provides a wonderful start to a child’s development.  Our children are taught by experienced early years practitioners, who give each child the best opportunity to develop both holistically and academically through the benefit of small classes and an enriching curriculum.

 

We ensure that all our children benefit from varied and well-directed early learning opportunities through their involvement in a wide range of practical activities. This is supplemented with the support of one-to-one teaching, directed at each child’s specific educational requirements and wellbeing.

 

An Explorers setting is a magical environment where children learn to understand feelings, kindness and respect for one another. We place a great emphasis on individuality, creativity, self-expression and child led learning. We follow traditional standards with contemporary concepts and have created a curriculum which includes the Early Years Foundation Stage.  We believe in the importance of laying the foundations for good manners, cultural diversity, knowledge and sociability.
